I’m kind of confused. The last thing I remember, I was on a flight back to Hong Kong. I was dozing off, but suddenly there seemed to be a lot of wind, and my head was aching. But as I woke up, I was here, not on the plane. Did something happen to it, or just to me? Are they worried about me? They probably are.
This will be an interesting situation to explain to my mother, assuming I ever get the chance. But then, if they’re looking for people to fight a war, powerful people, she might show up here.
They clearly have no qualms about drafting those who are much too young for a draft back home, myself included. I had my sword with me on the plane, miniaturized, but no ofuda, so unless I can get some more, I suppose I’ll be relying on physical ability, not magic.
But since they brought me, I’m kind of worried. Her magic has gotten a lot stronger, especially now that she’s changed all the cards; would she have been brought here? I don’t want to think she’s been dragged into a war. But I still selfishly think, it’d be nice to see her again, so much sooner than I ever imagined I would.
