Writing Prompt: Spotlight on Martini
*Martini wanders out of the shadows and into the spotlight. He looks bewildered, as though he's not entirely sure where he is or how he got there. He's talking to someone off screen.* Do I have to stay right here and talk? Oh, okay. So when does it start? Now? Already? But I'm not ready! *Some indisnct yelling is heard.* Okay, okay! Jeez!
*He faces the camera, but its forced to follow him as he starts wandering around, eyes looking everywhere.* So I don't always play with a full deck.*There's a shot of him in a straitjacket, inside a padded room.* And maybe my powers have caused more trouble than they're worth. *A street of people entirely frozen is shown. In the background, a clocktower is shown, time stopped. On the street, a lone figure is seen moving. The camera pans in until its clear that it is Martini. It cuts back to him in spotlight, usual goofy grin on his face*
But I wouldn't have it any other way. My name is Martini. And you're out of time. *He holds up an arm with his many watches on it. They all stop as he vanishes. It appears he's done, before he pokes his head out of the darkness and he wanders back out into the spotlight.* Am I done? Or do I have to do more? I don't think They like it in here, its kinda quiet. Can I have a cookie n-*The spotlight is abruptly dimmed as the camera quickly shuts off.*
