[Ah, Valentines. With the events of the last week, all this lovey-dovey, kissy dating sweetness was really the last thing he cared thinking about. He was determined, at least, that for him, this was just going to be another ordinary day. Very ordinary. The Venusaur did not need a girlfriend complicating his life up right now when he was already making a mess of it with his teammates.
Which made Dana's letter a little confusing. Such weird timing, why'd she have to pick today of days to ask him something important? Whatever it was. But a distraction from all the hearts and crap would be nice.
At least, this was the mindset he had when he left his room. By the time he'd actually arrived at her dorm however, something along the way had changed. Like a sharp, stabbing feeling in his back that melted into his body - but not in the form of pain. Like a fluttering, constricted feeling in his chest. Lightheadedness. A flush warmth that tingled all the way down to his toes. It had only been a passing glance that he had with... what looked like a tiny angel, but his heart was smitten.
When he opened the door to Dana's room, he was dazed, and beginning to blush. Too distracted by staring out in the hallway, at the empty air where she had been moments before.]
Hey uh... the pink floating Pokemon with jewels in her tails... she's your roommate, right?
[What timing, Dana was about to start having a panic attack that he wasn't going to show; only joking, of course. She was still extremely nervous at this point, and fumbled to get herself situated. Dana glanced up at the newcomer in her room with that strange question he had just asked.
... Wait why was he blushing like that? Oh no it had to be a good thing, maybe he too was overcome with the same emotions she was! ... Gee Dana hoped that was actually the case.]
My sister, Mesprit? Yes, Vincent... She is my roommate. Erm... why do you ask?
[After answering the question, she scratched at the metal on her arm warmers. Such a grading noise. It seemed to be the best thing to calm her down to a point.]
... I am also glad that you made it over here, to be honest. Today has been a very hectic day for myself.
[Vinnie was barely listening to anything she was saying. The only thing that made it into his brain was Mesprit. Mesprit... what a beautiful name. He had to know more. Every piece of information was like a holding a part of her, close in his heart.]
So she's your sister? That means she's like a god too, right? What's her thing?
[Emotions... like love? It was all just so fitting. So perfect, just like her. He gave a sigh of longing, completely ignoring Dana's growing impatience.]
Oh man. I don't think I can stop thinking about her.
Can you, like... introduce us? I-I mean, if that's not too...
Yeah done.time_mast3rFebruary 15 2011, 07:17:25 UTC
Vincent are you... Are you smitten to my sister? Are you really asking me to introduce her to you when I summoned you to ask you if you would be my Valentine today?
[Oh god hearing that word just tore her stomach up to absolute bits. It was so disgusting hearing this, she was so ready to just kick his ass out the door and never leave the room.] Vincent does she... really mean more to you than. I... might?
[C'mon girl, stay strong...] I... Actually wanted you to be my Valentine for this year, Vincent. ...I-I really care for you...
[Yeah she could not believe this. Friend-zoned like this so hard when she was spilling her SOUL to the pokemon.
Hey hands grew shakey, as did her temper. She stood abruptly and snarled.] Get out! Get out of my room right now! And leave my sister alone or I will end you!
[Vinnie blinked, like he had no idea what exactly he said wrong. She seemed mad about something, at least, and he didn't feel like sticking around for it.
Dana's words weren't exactly taking root in his brain though, because he simply shrugged and wandered off - with the full intention to find Mesprit, wherever she could be.]
[Fuck. As soon as he left the room, she felt herself begin to crumble a bit. Her hands were shaking considerably, as was the rest of her body. Dana just quietly sighed as she fell back into her bed, curling up in a tight ball.
She was so stupid. This was all her fault, she wasn't looking in the future as she should have. She could have prevented this. She could just go back and stop him this morning, but she couldn't bring herself to right at the moment. Sadness had returned to her body. Reaching up she grabbed one of the longer pillows she had and curled herself tight around it, burying her head into it for comfort and to hide the tears. They both had some explaining to do, but Vinnie was going to have to really convince her....]

[Oh okay this was really getting odd. Why the hell was he suddenly paying so much freaking attention to Mesprit? Dana was not liking this at all.]
May I... get on with what I have to ask, Vincent?
