i got bedding.... yay
last year i got cookware and dishes.
i also bought myself a sword--a pre-ww2 katana that was taken by the north chinease during ww2. i can't wait to go home and check it out.
tomorrow i am going with my family to arizona. we have the urge to wander the desert and dust the hills w/ the remains of my late aunt. i hadn't thought about it much until xmas, but Lucian--the cockatiel--can't come roadtripping in winter well, and nobody would be here, i didn't know any neighbors, my friends aren't really going to be here, its too far to head back to davis just to drop off the bird and such... hmmm
eventually we went over and asked a neighbor who says he'll come over and feed/water/talk to+play w/ lucian... yay.
