Lynn was only mostly grounded today, and it was not because of anything she'd done.

This was because her mother decided she needed to be inside to be safe, and away from anything fun.  Luckily, when she asked if she could have a friend over, Janie said yes and ordered them to stay upstairs.

She immediately phoned Carly, and invited her over.
