This is a sequal of sorts to my story Jack's Choice. It would be best if you read that first in order to understand the changes in this AU. But if not, What you really need to know is:
1) In this AU, Jack met and fell in love with Ianto before the events in Bad Wolf & Parting of the Ways, so Jack is mortal and Nine never regenerated.
2) Jack and Ianto work for Torchwood Three, but Torchwood is dedicated to helping the Doctor.
3) Now they are both traveling with Nine and Rose just as a holiday. Also this is obviously a major spoiler for Bad Wolf & Parting of the Ways. If you haven't seen them, you may not get some of the in jokes, but you should be able to follow the story.
