When you were describing the water on the table and the way the wood sparkled, even that was sensual. And every bit of their hand holding is becoming ridiculously erotic as I wait for something to happen between them.
Those are, remarkably enough, the two details of this chapter that I had to go out and find people to talk to about. "What kind of tables are there in Thai restaurants?" "This is awkward, but can I hold your hand on a table for a minute?" Oh, the things being a writer lets you get away with. But, back to the point, I'm surprised in a not-surprised way about how the water came across. When I get into self-literary-analysis mode, it starts to look like thirst pops ups when he wants Rose around the most. It's kinda fun and now I've started to purposely write it that way.
Is it ever going to be resolved or are you going to have to write another one shot to do something with it all?
Well, with ten or so more chapters to come, we're about halfway through - not exactly the time for me to spoil the ending. I will say that they will continue to be them and I will probably keep on writing oneshots occasionally.
I noticed he is referring to her as his girl now, not just on occassion but all through the chapter, he is most definitely thinking of her as his. She is moving firmly into his heart and I'm not sure he even knows how far he's fallen. So much like Nine, so very much.
Just when I think he's in love, he goes on and gets himself in deeper than before. There's no stopping it now, and pieces of it are even beginning to be acknowledged - still just pieces, though. Still, for him, that takes a lot of doing.
Least no one was around to ask me why this time. *grins*
Oh, that's no fun at all. (If a woman squeals on the internet and there's no one offline to hear her, does she still make a sound?)
