Author's Note: Yes, this was born out of my annoyance at rather shoddy Norwegian in 'Doomsday' and then went places I wasn't quite expecting. Vaguely passed on some series four speculation, but so decidedly AU not to be spoilery. A very belated backup Secret Pilotfish fic for javabreeze, who wanted Ten/Rose and Jackie to appear.
