MERRY CHRISTMAS! So dispite haviong no internet connection and being snowed under with homework I was really excitied about this and came up with a few things. A short story which I will post below. It has not even been double checked by me so spelling and grammer errors may be high, I simply have not had time, with my lessons and hospital appts. It is longer than a drabble but quite a short story.

Title:- A Christmas Filled With Joy
Disclaimer:- Kate is the only thing that belongs to me everything else but Santa is the BBCs
Spoilers:- if you really squint Girl in The Fireplace and  Doomsday

“Time for bed Kate” Jackie Tylers voice echoed through the house. “Santas on his way” It was all a heartwarming sight but it was not enough to cheer Rose. It was her fifth Chritmas alone, the Doctor had always told her to wait five and a half hours, she had tried that, in reality she had tried every multiple of that she could. She had tried five and a half weeks, fortnights, months and now years. This Christmas marked five and a half years since she had been seperated from him. That was it, her last hope had gone. After five and a half years she finally accepted what deep down hse had known all along. He wasn’t coming back she would never see the Doctor again.
As Rose climbed the stairs to her bedroom she paused, she must have been dreaming but she was sure she had just heard an all too familiar whirring sound. But as the minutes passed and nothing happened she climbed the rest of the stairs to bed. Little did she know Santa was working his majic as she slept. She had an extra special christmas present waiting for her.
Christmas morning. Rose was stirring slowley in her bed. Downstairs she could hear her sister discovering her presents. She was sparing a moment of thought for those she could have been spending Christmas with when she turned over to find herself face to face it the one person she thought she would never see again. The Doctor.
“What are you doing here?” She gasped,
“What do you mean what am I doing here, hang on - what am I doing here and where is the TARDIS?”
“Oh my God it’s really you isn’t it?”
“Of course it’s me who else would it be, Santa Claus, the Queen…”
“Doctor shut up!” Rose interupted
“Hey what did your Mum have?”
“A girl Kate, can’t you hear her?”
“There is only one thing I missed more than you.”
“Thanks”
“Holding you in my arms and looking at the stars. Look Rose there is something I never got to say. Rose Tyler I”
“Shh, you don’t have to say it.”
“Yes Rose I do, you need to hear it. I love you Rose Tyler and I never want to lose you again.”
As their lips met Rose lept up and dragged the Doctor up and down the stairs. As she opened the door Kate ran over, Jackie froze and Pete dropped the spoon he was holding.
“Rose come and look at what Santa brought me”
“Wait a minute Kate let me show you what Santa brought me. Do you remember all those bedtime stories about the Doctor and me?”
“Of course, what have you thought of another one?”
“No, Kate this is him, this is the Doctor he’s found me.”
“Cool wheres your TARDIS then, the Doctor had a TARDIS and he had two hearts.”
“I’m not sure at the moment but when I find it I would like to take you all home in ti, for good. I have found my family and I don’t want to loose them.”
“Oh OK” Kate went back to her presents looking disapointed.
“But you can feel my two hearts if you want” Kates look of pleasure lit the room and Rose was sure she had never been as happy.

I did have an icon but livejournal for some reason won't let me upload the image

And finally a poem

Lost

What do you say to a man who has lost everything,
his home,
his family,
his love.

What do you do when it happens to you?
Do you run,
Stay,
or scream your protests on whoever is listening,
pounding, ruthlessly, painfully

Or do you stay,
Stay and fight till things are right,
Do you bring it all back your own way.

You don't give up,
you may be lost,
but theres always hope.
