Well, the mention of Bray caught my attention, since I grew up about half an hour away from there and went there many times as a kid and later on. So it was very exciting to see it there ( ... )

Shannon's not a...oh. Right. Stupid American mistake. X/ Sorry! I think I had about three different cities all in my head at once, and my fact-checking on Wiki and with friends was a little spotty. I did actually have in mind an area a bit further down the coast from Bray, but I got mixed up. I feel so daft now. Heh.

It's so hard to do such an awkward, yet great, relationship in a way that's convincing, so it's nice to see that it's working.

- that should be 'lies'.
*facepalm* Oh, how did I not catch that?

I'm going to go try and do something smart now...

Don't feel daft! There's no reason to. I know that if I was trying to write a story set in a place I'd never been I'd make dozens of mistakes. I wrote a chapter set in Japan once and felt horribly inadequate - I'm sure if anyone from Japan read it they must've been squirming at my ignorance.

I hope that my suggestions helped - that's the only reason I made them, and I meant it: I'm really enjoying this story :)

They helped so much. Thank you. Hopefully my geography is better on the next one. And I'm so glad you're enjoying this story. :D (Especially since I'm a fan of your writing.)

I loved this, how you put the travels into a smaller dimension, but keeping what the Doctor and Rose are as they are. I could easily imagine this in the series. Good job. :)

Ooo, thank you! That's such a complement, as I don't consider myself anywhere near the level of the writing of the show.

And, for some odd reason, I really love your icon. Just to let you know. :D

Thanks! calixa made it, and it's really one of my favorite episodes, wardrobe-wise. XD

I've been forgetting to check up on new fic for a while, so to come back to something this lovely was wonderful. I love how the feel of the parts so far are different enough to reflect the change in places -- it was very easy to get a feel for the scenery in both -- but the Doctor and Rose stay consistent and in character. And so intriguing; like wendymr said, it's great that you don't spell out the exact specifics and nature of their relationship and leave us guessing.

Not to mention that the title -- which was what drew me in to start with -- is fantastic. :)

It's all the title's fault, really. I thought of it and went from there. Glad it's a good one. :)

Thank you, and I'm glad that you like it. Scenery and setting was the hardest part, because the challenge stated that it had to be set somewhere you'd never been before! So I'm glad that worked out. (Oh no, I've given away my secret...)
