Would it be bad form to say that I hope you get the flu more often? Because, damn, that was really good. In a 'the ground just disappeared under you' kind of way.

Also, it really piles on the angst if you imagine that this is after a post-doomsday reunion.

I know what you mean about the 'any writing is good writing' thing, for the past two years I've only been able to write fiction while on an airplane. Go figure.

I'm pretty new to the DW fandom scene, but there is a sad lack of fanfic for a show so perfectly ficcible. I want to read those angst punch in the gut stories, but there just aren't that many available. I'd take a round-trip flight to New Zealand if I thought I could manage to write one myself, but my only Whofic bunnies involve Tardis High, Jedi, and Ramses Emerson. (AU and crossovers respectively)

Oh geez. Planes? That must really come in handy.

I've always thought the Doctor Who fandom would be really fic-happy considering all the places and times that are available (Hello, my name is TARDIS!) which even allows for made-up planets and aliens made out of jelly (fun, but messy). And oh! Speaking of Jedi. I always draw little stick figure comics featuring the Doctor Who, Star Wars, and Battlestar Galactica fandoms, respectively.

They are so much fun to play with when collided! (Mostly Vader just asks silly questions about the TARDIS.)

I'm hoping I can actually manage getting a decent exposition for this Gut-Punching Angst Fic™. It might take long, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. (Especially when all the DW fans stone me for being so, so evil. Yes!)

I always save titles for last, so after reading it over completely, the first word that came to mind was 'Castles.' I have absolutely no idea why, but I think it (maybe-kinda-sorta) fits. :)
