You and this story have just become my new best friends *hands over cookies*.

For some reason, having an AU Doctor makes Doomsday almost okay to me, specially if it's a 9th Doctor, who potentially is still all broody about the Time War. Can't wait till the next chapter.

It's not really all that impossible. Think about it, it was Queen Victoria's encounter with the Doctor that made her create Torchwood so it stands to reason that there is at least one other time travelling alien (Possibly a Time Lord named the Doctor, possibly not) which would have been Rose's cup of tea.
