Second Update: Can we carry on this thread elsewhere? Say somewhere where it's not clogging up my email inbox? I get the point, porn not veiled but its not me you need to convince, it's her.  Seriously guys, she ( Read more... )

I think my HMS_STFU post probably gives a better summary. It has quotes! And links!

I was going to suggest it as the unofficial theme song of this comm with all the fun that's been going on but didn't want to come over as too cheeky :)

*has it stuck in her head too*

Brilliant work. Absolutely brilliant. I haven't laughed that hard in so long.

I tried reading her *coughcrapcough* fic, and frankly, I'd be astonished if she were an actual writer. Seriously. I'm half-tempted to demand links to her actual published works. But I'm not that suicidal.

Yes.

But then again, I'd probably be shot as being misscam. Hee.

Well, a couple of people have been trying to track down her 'published works'. Her response so far has been that she never claimed to be a published fiction writer and that she's a historian. Google her - you'll find a website by Rose Tempany Pearse on Patrick Pearse, the Irish poet and revolutionary (whose granddaughter she claims to be - shame for her that he was executed in 1916 and left no offspring. I heard that she gave someone the names of two journals she claims to have published in. One doesn't exist - I Googled the Irish Literary Review on google.com and google.ie. If it existed, it would have a website. Citations would appear on other web pages, such as those of academics who've published in it. The other, History Today, does exist and is an 'educational magazine'. It carries a full list of authors who've published in it on its ( ... )
