Scotland tour: Isle of Skye part 1
Time to resume the tour reports ! ;)
Soo after the castle fun it was time to head toward one of the best place with many nice scenery : The Isle of Skye.
That Friday 14th of May 2010 was going to be full !
On the way there we stop quickly for photos in that nice location:
Time for meditating and balance practice on unstable rocks ;)
Not much further we had to stop again ;P
The map says there are some water falls somewhere,
difficult to find but we succeed !
Thanks to Junkvist for sticking up with me as we had to walk and search quite a bit to find a good point of view ;)
We also encounter local wildlife:
Very dangerous species that masters the hug of death ! ;)
We go on the road again, and after a while we finally arrive on the Isle of Skye.
Your mission if you accept it, is to find an hotel cheap enough but not too bad, to stay for a couple of days.
That is a difficult task ;)
There are many castles properties on the Isle of Skye and the maps don't tell much about what is what ;)
After following signs, we arrived at that .. small... house thing ;)
The inside was even more ... interesting ;)
Poor Redpanda thing.
I still asked for the prices, but well too much and for a room under the roof with tight stairs to climb with all our stuff, no way ;)
We spent more time looking around,
Would have been faster with that :
Dr who was here:
Phone booth in the middle of nowhere !
Then we see a sign that says hotel, that directs us on a very bad dirt road.
We drive about 2 miles on the shit road, to find... another castle , dammit ;)
Nice view too but expensive
Many sheeps and sheep shit watch your step !
After a while we finally find what will be our hotel for the next few days :)
Medium price and good rooms well located in the middle of the major roads on the Isle, which will be very practical and nice backyard view :)
We still have a bit of time before the end of the day so after dropping our stuff at the hotel we go back on the road for more touring :)
There was supposed to be something at the end of a small road, so we go there...
to find ... this...ok:
and more sheeps everywhere
Fortunately a bit later on the way to Milovaig, was a nice view ;)

Sun is getting down quickly but we should still have time to reach NeistPoint and LochMor
lalalala
Ok ok , and before someone asks, I'm naked under the Kilt !
It would have been possible to walk way far there on the rock, but well time was flying ;)
LochMor is very nice too on SunSet :)
The last thing the photographer saw before being fiercely killed by jumpy Meerkats !
Well after a few more stretch-exercises

Time to head back for a good meal.
That was a very long day.
