Post EF15 - Paris Eiffel Tower Fursuit outing
I'm still way behind my reports, but I'll do this one in the meantime
as I just finished sorting and processing all the pics :)
So after EF Akita, Mylo and Takatha came to my place,
and they toured around Paris on a few days.
It was nice to get to spent longer time and chat more with them :)
Then Croc, Jimmy & Bacon arrived on Wednesday for a short stay as they had to leave on Thursday already.
So we tried to do as much as possible on Wednesday afternoon.
We left my place around 2-3 pm, and we parked near the Champ de Mars,
the big grass area in front of the Eiffel tower.
The time for them to turn into fuzzy creatures,
and for me to grab the cams, and there we could go and brave the crowds :)
Overall there were still quite a few tourists, but it was not too busy.
As soon as people noticed the fursuiters, they were of course delighted,
and many hugs and pictures taking ensued :)
Local wildlife likes fursuiters too ;)
of course doggies would do everything for a piece of bacon ! ;)
Teenagers like fursuiters too ;)

A few kids seemed to be a bit too much to handle for the suiters though,
I was mostly telling them to stop when I thought they were too hard on the suiters,
like pulling the tail too hard and so on.
Usually kids will be quite invasive with suiters in France.
So that outing was not much different than others to me.
They were quite young kids so usually it's doable to manage them while in suit.
The teenagers can usually be more a pain.
But as a general rule if I'm your spotter, don't hesitate to let me know if kids are pushing it too much, and I'll tell them to keep their distances,
because my limits might not be your limits ;)

At some point there was a few people asking what it was about of course,
a woman in particular was quite curious, so I explain to her that it's just for fun to entertain and take pictures.
And she replied : oh I see "It's a way to get noticed without being seen ;)"
*g* quite funny ;)
After a bit of moving, that allowed to clear the kids for a few minutes,
and could take a few more piccies, somewhat ... ;)
Fursuiters had gotten the weather god angry and the sky had switched from blue to dark ;)
it was starting t oget very menacing, but fortunately
Akita, Mylo & Takatha meet with us, and they had an umbrella,
I had forgotten mine in the car, doh !
Tadaaaaahh !

and it was time to head back to the car.

After that we went out of suit and climb to the 2nd floor of the eiffel tower,
then took the elevator to the 3rd floor.
Then it we headed toward the "Le chien qui fume" restaurant aka "the smoking dog" for a nice big meal.
Foie gras, lotte, and profiterolles for me *burp* ;)
