Okay, who told the scammers I had any money to scam?

Gotta give 'em credit for perseverance, it just seems like a lot of effort for very little return.  Not only have I been called twice by men with Indian accents, today I got a pair of scam emails for Western Union, claiming 1) I had opened an account and 2) had requested a password change if I would just click this convenient link and, no doubt, shared certain private information with them - - you know, just to verify.  I ignored them both of course, and on the off chance that someone had tried to open an account in my name, I located the REAL Western Union customer support line (curiously absent from the emails) and had them verify that I am not in their system.  But come on!  I'm a regular middle-class dude with a mortgage and a car payment and more credit card debt than I like to admit;  hardly the cash cow all this effort would seem to indicate!
