Soooooooo, I've left my two or three readers without a blog for a whole week now. It's about time to update my life.

Two words: Foundation Camp.

I made so many awesome friends at Foundation. It was a Christian camp, so they were all brothers and sisters in Christ which makes it all the greater. Daily worship was incredible. The speaker spoke God's Word, and I drank it in. My clothes did not come clean from the mess which is the Incredibly Fun Olympics. My shorts look like I couldn't hold it in. 'nuff said. Oh, and Yellow team (my team) won the overall title of winner for the whole four days.

I went to Harvest Christian Fellowship this morning. The pastor was the speaker from Foundation, which I didn't know when I decided to attend. Anyhow, crazy story. After the singing was over, the lady in charge of kids' church talked to the congregation and shared what was going on in that ministry. She also invited those interested in helping out to talk to her afterwards. And I was like, "God, you are talking to me, aren't you?" And the answer was yes, of course.

(Quick background info: Working with 2nd graders in inner-city Los Angeles, I discovered that I'm gifted with children and I also felt God calling me to work i childrens' ministry when I got to my new church here in Lubbock. I've been praying about it for the past few weeks, and I think it's been answered.)

So where was I? I forget. So let's fast forward a couple of hours. I went and saw Paul Wright in concert this evening. He was lots of fun. I bought two of his CDs. Then the craziest thing happened - I met a guy who I've known online for at least two years. RANDOM. We did not plan this at all, I swear. (Actually, I don't swear, but you get my drift.) It blew my mind, for sure.

Sorry there's no picture, but you'll observe I'm listening to Paul Wright right (hehe) now.
