Dear journal,
I'll be in Lubbock at this time in a week. Or almost there, depending on what time in the morning I leave. Things are coming together quickly now. And one by one my friends are leaving to go their separate ways. Oh melancholia!
On the other hand, I've enjoyed the last week. I made donuts with my donut making crew one last time last night. They were delicious. I said goodbye to a couple of people at the end of the evening. Tomorrow I say goodbye to several more. I am thankful every time I remember that I have some good friends going up to Tech with me.
In recent news, I found J Lo's wake up video and edited it. I realized I had a sweet song for the opening titles - In a Win, Win Situation by Emery. I watched the four vids that the senior guy wake up crew has completed so far and it filled me with pride in our work. Not haughty pride, but pride from a job well done. I'm looking forward to editing the next two with Darin this Monday. We have some good material to work with.
