i saw yo la tengo last night. the show was fantastic. but what made it absolutely perfect was that i won two tickets on the radio! neat huh?! i dont think ever won anything before. who ha! i took matt as my date, because everyone sucks around here and is lazy, or broke, or both. kind of a weird show. they had a lot of guest "friends" playing with them on certain numbers. they played a handful of covers too. they'd play a fast song, and i'd get really excited and bounce around. but then they'd follow it up with like three slow songs. oh, by the way, they played for about three and a half hours! the show was just them with their comedian friend who did his routine during the two intermissions the band took. he was god awful. the funniest part of either of his routines was when people started to boo him. it was cool though when the singer/guitarist (ira?) played his wacky noisey guitar solos. he'd fling his guitar all around, behind his head, hold it up in the air with one hand, and just spazz out. gave me goose bumps. if you were still here i would have graciously giving the second ticket. you would have been the first person i called. what are you going to be for halloween? i'm going to be a bunny with a white tummy!
