It is not often that Zoe asks him personal questions, or talks much with him beyond mundane matters. He frowns deeply and tries to find how to best phrase the answer.
“He hurt someone very important to me, and will keep doing it unless he is taken care of,” he says, a little hesitant. “He stands in the way of what I want. Of the person I want."

{Very true. Oh, oh, I want them to have a conversation about 'bad romance' so to speak, because Zoë has had to deal with some pretty ugly sides of Caliban. He knows all about bad romance. :D}

(Hahaha, sure thing! Sulli knows a thing or two, but he hasn't dealt with someone like Caliban for half a millenia :P Oh, I just found the OST to Quest for Camelot, and I'm so pleased I could kiss someone :D I love that movie.)

{Never heard of it. What's it about? And on a related note, do you think you could try and find the OST to Pan's Labyrinth? I think you'd like it, even if we can't get the e-mails to work again.}

(It's a children's movie from 98 about a girl, a guy and a two headed dragon who set out to find the stolen King Arthur's sword. And I love the lullaby from Pan's Labyrinth! I cried so hard when I saw it at the cinema. I'll have a look.)

{Interesting! Have you ever watched BBC's show Merlin? (Also I feel like I've asked you this already?) And thank you!}

(You did ask. I saw two episodes, and they were fun, but I have a hard time following running series, and I just forgot after. Merlin is such a dorky boy. I want to see that new/modern version of Sherlock Holmes. Not sure if it's BBC or HBO or whichever :3)

There is a sudden banging from the front hall, and he turns, surprised. "What in Hecate's name?" he murmurs, running quickly to the door.
He comes back a minute later with Frankenstein with him; the Doctor is more pale than usual and he looks troubled. And the same moment, Caliban comes downstairs, looking angry. "You have some explain-"
"Yes, yes, I'll tell you everything later, but right now, I've got a poor girl dying in my laboratory and i need your servant to save her!" Frankenstein snaps. "Sullivan, you come too. Ill explain in the carriage."
{Did you see the movie version with Robert Downey Jr? I thought it was great.}
Reply
(Omg, yes! I never thought I'd say this, but Jude Law looks smashing with a moustache. I adore Downey Jr :3 I didn't get to see Ironman 2 yet, sadly.)

{I saw it on the plane ride home. It was pretty good. :3 Jude Law did look pretty hot with a mustache, didn't he? And thank you so much for the soundtrack, love!}

”Ariya.”
The breath gushes from him in shock. Then, as he connects the Doctor’s words from before, about the dying girl, he makes a noise in the back of his throat and grips the man’s arm tightly. “What happened?! How- Ariya is dying?”
(I think Jude Law might be the sort of guy who looks good in anything. An you're welcome! :3)

{Very true. Even though he's going bald he's still gorgeous.}

Ariya can’t die. She just…can’t.
The carriage doesn’t seem to move fast enough, even at full speed, and the three passengers spend it in grim, suffocating silence.
When they come to a stop outside the Doctor’s castle, Sullivan is the first to tear open the door and jump out, looking wild eyed and frayed.
(XD. Some men just retain their charm despite age. He's probably one of the few men I actually find attractive, looks wise.)

Zoë frowns deeply, shaking his head. "My lung aren't functional yet," he says, and the doctor swears.
"Shit, that's what I needed most," he hisses, taking a sharp turn down the hallway that will lead them to his laboratory. "Alright, we'll have to improvise."
The lab doors burst open before he even touches them, and he rushes to the medical room, Zoë and Sullivan close behind.
Ariya lies on one of the surgical tables, blood seeping from every open orifice, soft whimpers of pain still pouring from her lips. Anton hovers over her, trying his best to staunch the blood flow and barely succeeding.

“Ariya!” He rushes to the table and stands there helplessly, panicked, and doesn’t know what to do, except he needs to help somehow. “W-what can I do? I need to do something too,” he pleads, staring at Frankenstein.

Zoë obey immediately, and Frankenstein grabs a needle of clear liquid, jamming it into the servant's neck before grabbing a large, very fine tipped knife. "This will hurt," he warns, and begins cutting Zoë open.
Zoë says nothing, simply grits his teeth against the slowly fading pain.

(It may just be that I'm tired, and that listening to Pan's lullaby while writing now affects me, but I want to cry for Ariya, even though I know she'll live :/)
