Disney Trip - short version
Me and Seaweed took off last Wed night, requiring me to call out from work. This was due to snow moving in, which I did NOT want to drive in. We ended up racing the snow/rain all the way down. The trip itself was pretty uneventful, and we got in early in the morning - meeting up with the gang. We met Quincey for the first time, and he seems to be a very nice fellow.
We generally got into the parks on time, and took things at a good pace. Jon moved pretty well, and within a year or so I hope he can take the smaller parks without a scooter. A special shout-out to Brace for dropping by and sharing some interesting info with us. Food was excellent, as always, and the resort had a good eating area. The only drawback was the last night of dining for us was at the Marekesh Grill. Good food, but way to pricey, even for Disney.
Characters were sparse, but if you follow my FB you know I got one good score right at the end. Other than that it was a nice, long, relaxing trip - EXACTLY what I needed....
I need to go down again just to meet up with the local folks. the room was cramped this year, so we could not hold a big cookout like last year.
