I'm further into Godel, Escher, Bach than I've gotten before, but I still feel I'm starting to lose the math (I kinda get TNT). I'd probably pick up more of it if I were going through with a pencil and paper and playing with it all, I guess.

There's a big fire somewhere around, and the light is the beautiful postapocalyptic tint of brown, like everyone's wearing sunglasses.
Went to the optometrist, got (don't have yet, but ordered) eep, I almost don't want to admit this, err, umm... hipster nerd glasses. I'm sorry. And sunglasses, but not the kind I wanted (That is, the kind that makes me look like some sort of insect, like Keith Richards is wearing on the Between The Buttons cover).
Picked up the Disinformation Book of Lies featuring, finally, a bit more "Pop! Magic" by Granty Granty Grant-Grant.
No, really the light and the sky today. I forget who said it, but I heard something about how Schwarzeneger and Gary Coleman should have teamed up, like the midget-monster-combo from Beyond Thunderdome. Or Golden Axe Two, damn, whatta great game.
