Crystal in Canada
The day.. Tuesday, the time, after work. I got home and picked Crystal up to go to Canada. We left around 7pm and got to Windsor at 8:30 at the latest. Chris was not home until 9:30 so we went to the riverwalk. Crystal enjoyed the view.
We went back to pick up Chris and went to the all american hot spot Caseys. (not to be confused with Chris's workplace Kelseys) We had some food and some drink and then Crystal and I headed out to the Casino.
OMG was that a great time. I got smashed on vodka/coke, beer, and dirty martinis. Crystal had a vodka/coke, daquari, and margarita which I had to finish. I lost 60$ and Crystal didn't play anything but slots. I learned how to play Mini Bacharack which was fun. I noticed I was flirting with the dealer who she was awesome, explained everything to me and had a lot of fun with me at the table. I thought she was fantastic.
It was a 50$ minimum at the poker tables so I decided that I didn't need to lose anymore so I didn't. Crystal and I left, walked back to the car in the rain and then drove back to Chris' place.
Chris and I had a long night of cuddling and I definitely needed that. In the morning we awoke late and took a shower, then Crystal got up and we went out to breakfast at this wonderful pizza place downtown (Terra Cotta). We then walked around for a bit and went to the art gallery. It was sooo cool, they had a Canadian painter on the third floor, Think box music and inspiring video on the second and music photos on the first. It was a cool sight and I had a lot of fun. We then walked back to the car. On the way I noticed several hot spots for next time. (Jack Rabbit Slims - from Pulp Fiction but not the same interior :( and Berlin where they sell Absinth.)
We went back, CRystal got her drawing supplies and I dropped her off at the riverfront walk. She drew a statue while I went back and took a nap with Chris, again much needed cuddling and napping.
I picked Crystal back up and Chris and I painted his last wall in his room while Crystal watched. It was late and Crystal and I had to get going.
It was sad to leave, and Chris and I had an amazing good bye kiss and I didn't want to leave, the only consolation is that I will be back on Monday for two more days.
Crys and i left and stopped at the Duty Free, I got a Canadian vodka for martinis, a shot glass, window sticker of the us and canadian flag together ;), and a surprise for Mara.
At the boarder, I was made to get out of the car and open my trunk, it was scary but the guy just wanted to see that I wasn't smuggling anything else. He let me go and nothing else was said. We drove back to Lansing, jamming to Carrie Underwood the whole way, just like we jammed to Immaculate Collection all the way out there. Got back home and went to Meijer got some things, and waited for Ben. The plan was to go to the other drag show but we just had martinis and hung out while watching a movie. We then went to bed and now I'm at work...
Ugh tonight I have to get reunion stuff ready, Friday - Sunday is camping and Reunion, and Monday is work and Canada till Wednesday. I am on a non-stop binge of craziness that will eventually end to a nice vacation in northern Michigan, fun back home in Indiana, and a long trip to the Georgian Bay :) Thank god for vacations!!! TJ
