Fly me to the moon

Back from Baltimore. It was so much fun that I've been sleeping 10 hour days since to recover.

Its been over two weeks since the car accident and absolutely nothing has been done to fix the damages. Since I am not at fault, Progressive feels no compulsion to work for my welfare, and since the other guy was self insured, my life is hell. Self insured doesn't mean he actually takes care of his own claims, it means that he pays a small company to take care of it for him. Since that small company's goal is to make money from insuring individuals, they give all of their clients to a larger, umbrella company that handles all their claims. Words do no justice to the slow game of chess I seem to be playing right now.

Sign language is going as well as my inexperienced mind can take it. While literary concepts and mathematic formulas (sometimes) just tend to click, this whole "language" is pushing the outermost limits of my ability to learn by somewhat passively. Frustrating if only because given the reclusive nature of sign language, the tests we take are the only real opportunity to test any skills we learn in class.

Baltimore! I lost my DS, missed a flight, got stuck at airports for hours, slept for three days on the floor of a guys apartment... Umm... drank a lot. Actually found a couple readers of the site (www.japanator.com) who took me out drinking. Coolest people ever. However, it was slightly disjarring to spend hours with people who have a casual knowledge of you, yet you know nothing of them. My repitore of random stories would prematurely fail as I would find they were already familiar with my antics. This was only a mild set back, as they great conversationalists, and had the hook up at the bar we were at. 6 shots, 5 drinks, and a meal gratis... for once I felt an advantage of my station at the website... you know, other than when I did the voice actor thing.

Speaking of which, caught a flight back with a FUNimation rep. Marketing director for One Piece, I'm supposed to set up an audition for some time in the next couple of weeks.
yay me!
