A new life
February Twenty Ten.
Wowza. I guess I'll never stop saying time is flying. I've officially moved. I'm living just outside Washington DC in Maryland. Kohl's asked me to move out here to open a new store. Things are going well, it's been exciting! We had 1200 interviews last week for our 140 positions, and found some really great candidates. I'm really excited to train everyone and open up the store, which is BEAUTIFUL! Brand new and shiny!
Life in the area has been different... Great to be on my own... Love my new place... Getting along with my roommate. It's just odd to be out here without friends or a support system, ya know? I have one friend who lives in the city so shes introduced me to a lot of her friends, but none that are like really really my friends yet.
Had the week from hell last week... Crashed my car into a median on the highway (thanks to an idiot and some ice), then dropped my cell phone and destroyed it. Fought with my insurance company for a long while, finally got a rental car, then it died on me, so I was stranded by our hiring site without a phone or a car, or my rental car. Haha a rough night, rough week, got over it.
I'm still growing and learning so much, duh, I guess that's what we do in life. I think it's time I have a steady boyfriend. Tons of guys in DC, just hard to like meet someone. All in due time, huh?
