Public Works didn't for a long time
I refuse to post these to the front page of Wikipedia any more. But I will post them here. The article I wrote or assisted with is in bold.
Did You Know ... that the District of Columbia Department of Public Works has had its authority cut back twice -- once in 1988, when the Department of Parks and Recreation was spun off, and again in 2002 when the Department of Transportation was created?
