A Jens Lekman sort of weekend.
did i mention that the Final Fantasy show was cancelled a few weeks ago? it was most sad. :( I'd been looking forward to seeing him (Owen PalIett) and then he got really sick and cancelled a lot of the tour in Canada. So unfair. he better come back soon! I did go to the Final Fantasy symphony show last week and it was really great! There was a huge screen with bits from the games and the UBC opera choir plus some guest singers...and of course the symphony orchestra.
We went to see "Whip It" last night and it was really entertaining. The soundtrack had a lot of Jens Lekman songs. Its been insanely rainy, which makes me want to listen to Jens Lekman and watch Grey's Anatomy (set in Seattle). I have a lot of assignments and mid-terms etc coming up, and i start my swimming lessons this week. I kind of wish in a way that I hadn't signed up as i've got so much going on, but hopefully it'll be fun and good for some exercise?!
