upcoming concerts
I knew when we moved to Vancouver there'd be so many more things available to do - like many more concerts for instance, but this is crazy! I am having a hard time deciding which ones to go to, as there are so many great acts coming this fall!
Final Fantasy - September 25 - already have tickets
Basia Bulat - September 23 - i saw her at the Vancouver Folk Fest this past July but i love her music a lot and the tickets are only $14 each!
Final Fantasy music from the video games performed by the Vancouver Orchestra - October 8 - have tickets already
Amy Millan - October 24 - I'm not sure how much the tickets are, probably about $14. I really want to go to this, as she is releasing a new album this fall and i really enjoyed her last one!
Shonen Knife - October 25 - $14 for tickets...they are a really cool japanese pop group with very catchy songs! I think it would be very fun to see them in concert.
Ohbijou - November 21 - $15. I really like the mix of violins and percussion instruments with...other things...and i just really want to see them live before they take up a much larger/more expensive venue.
by the way, i realise many of you won't know who these people are, as they are all Canadian (apart from Shonen Knife).
So...what's a girl to do? I guess i could live without seeing Basia Bulat again, but the other ones?!
