So much that i wanna do
Greg works across from Tinseltown, my favorite movie theatre, so Tuesday night we met there and saw Hellboy II: The Golden Army. I can't decide whether i like it better than the first one - both are so good. I officially love everything that Guillermo Del Toro directs! Pan's Labyrinth = amazing! According to IMDB there are some very interesting movies coming out from this guy - i especially can't wait for the Hobbit (and the Hobbit 2?!)!
It is so bloody hot outside and this city seems to not have any shade at all...yes, the ENTIRE city is shadeless - like the reverse of that sun-blocker thing that Monty Burns created!
This morning, before Greg left for work, we went the nearby mall and tried to find a Sony ebook Reader to look at in person, to no avail. I needed to go to the library (which is in the mall, practically - so strange), but we noticed there was a sidewalk sale event going on so we wandered around a bit. Greg bought new jeans and a bunch of shirts (he is usually able to find so many things - so unfair), before he had to leave. I stayed and looked the the women's version of the store he went into and bought a bunch of the tops that i tried on a few weeks ago but didn't buy (good thing, since they were now 50% off!), and found some shorts, too. I'm so glad, since i don't own any shorts, and i am going to the Vancouver Folk Festival tomorrow night and all day Sat/Sun...so will need something cool to wear. I guess i really just don't do the summer thing. i prefer layered clothes and jackets, and i hate shorts and skirts. Well, now i have some things to wear so i will hopefully not melt this weekend. should be a great weekend...can't wait to see Aimee Mann perform again!
Does anyone else have Abba songs on repeat in their head? Must be all the Mamma Mia! promotions...
