Well, my stint in Missoula was far too short, but it was really fun while it lasted. It was actually a decent temperature- as opposed to last time when it was 4 degrees! We went and saw V for Vendetta again- and loved it just as much the second time around. Also saw Doom...uh, not quite as great a movie... But it made for a wonderful comedy! I love watching corney horror movies with witty people- it makes all the difference. I'd forgotten how much I miss that these days. No one here gets the horror movie- and I'm desperate to find someone to go to Slither with. I think I'm going to end up seeing it by myself. At least, this way, I'll be able to drool over Nathan Fillion directly into my popcorn bucket.
Also had a creepily accurate tarot reading compliments of thewylddream. I'm such a sap for asking about my love life- I know it's the typical question but it still feels girly and dumb. But not quite as girly as the PS2 gaming: Guitaroo Man and Karaoke Revolution. Now I'm not even trying to say I didn't LOVE every second- just that it pains me a little to admit it. I'm not supposed to like the girly games- I'm supposed to be the cool chick gamer who won't play anything that doesn't have explosions, preferably explosions and zombies! At least I can't afford either one at the moment... not that I was trying to ebay them or anything...
*sigh* Things weren't so good when I got home. The house was a new level of disgusting- and that's saying something considering my roommates. Trash bags were piled in front of the door, I could barely open it, and the dogs had dragged out my tuna cans, spilling food and coffee grinds EVERYWHERE! And the jagged tuna cans were just sitting in the middle of the living room waiting for someone's bare feet. I started to pick up and became overwhelmed by it all- I didn't even know where to begin. I ended up leaving everything where it was and taking off. I just threw my suitcase on my bed, turned around and left.
Ended up watching Pride and Prejudice with some friends and actually liking it! Usually I can't stand period movies. Then we watched "It's All About Love" starring Joaquin (sp?) Phoenix and Claire Danes. It was a non-sensical mind fuck, but about half way through we just starting laughing at it... and at each other when some actually tried to make some sense of it. But it had ice skating ballerinas getting shot and then trying to drag their bloody bodies across the ice- that was image to remember.
Heh, one of these days I'm going to have to find something better to do than just sitting around watching bad movies.
