IT IS OVER!!!
I survived finals! I sold my books (what an ass raping that is) and I won't have to even look at that accursed college for an entire month! After which I'll begin my oh-so strenuous semester of exercise and art classes. The closest thing to a difficult course is Japanese 102 which I will be taking from the "easy" teacher. All is well in the world. Or it would be if I actually had some money for x-mas shopping. There's nothing I love more than giving presents, and it kills me when I see something perfect for a friend or loved one that I just can't afford- and that's been happening a lot. Still, I decided to go for broke (literally) on at least one big gift: a mp3 player for my mom. I'm splitting the cost with her boyfriend, but it's still more than I should be doing. I think that's why it feels so damn good. I know she's going to love it and I can't wait to see her face.
I'm just happy. In fact, I think I'm actually bordering on Christmas spirit! :o
Not to worry, though, I still hate carolers and their atrocious Christmas music- that will never change.
Edit: I decided against the mp3 player since Steve was going to get it for my mom anyway. It would just short change her one present. So I decided on a mahogany jewelry box with etched glass, equally nice and even perty :)
