A smallish update
Time marches on. I can't believe 2011 is almost over. I mean holy hell, where did it go? It just kind of blazed by.
Life for me is just kind of marching on. Nothing too exciting has been happening outside of the daily minutiae. I think maybe I'm in a rut. I mean, I've been at the same job for four years, which is a record for me. At some point I know I'm just going to flip out and move to Oregon or Seattle or something. It's kind of inevitable. At least the hobby front has been somewhat rewarding. I've been screwing around with more ham radio stuff lately, building kits and learning the ins and outs of radio electronics. Always be learning. That's what keeps me from going totally mental.
I do need to figure out what I want to do with myself in the somewhat near future, though. I have no real life goals, and that's a big problem. At 38, I've become too set in my ways. While I'm not exactly old, I'm under no illusions that I'm fresh out of college, either. I just need to get off my duff and DO something, y'know?
Ah well. I'll figure it out.
