No, I cannot describe in words how much I love Rex. I haven't gotten to see him in over a month..and they resumed racing at the Mountain tonight. He's won three and the card's only half over. And after every ride, he gave the horse a big pat on the chest and shuffled away not looking at anyone, just like I remembered.
It kills me. It absolutely kills me that I never got to say a real good-bye, or even spend one more day getting to know him.
And Judge had a hard time...he wants to go back to Finger Lakes. I'm always depressed at night. No worries, I'm sure I'll be just fine tomorrow.
