Victorian Hat and Tricorn Hats.

I'm always trying to figure out new ways of making my hat styles better. I believe I figured out a good way to make some of my Victorian hats even better!. This is based on some hats from 1870s (1873-1874), I'm working on a few more currently. But I thought I would post my finished one.

I love making tricorns, I think it's my favorite type of hat to make. They take a bunch of time. (not as long as the Victorian) They're fun and I like to make one of a kind works for them. Enjoy :D

I make most of my hats with a buckram base, my top hats I make with a double sided buckram which makes them able to stand up to a lot of punishment. I use millinery wire to help keep the shape of the victorian and tricorn hats. if they're bent one way they can be bent back into shape.

Hope you like'em!
