Question:

I'm putting movies on hold at the library. I have watched very few movies for a very long time, so there's an immense backlog of possibly brilliant things I should see. This could of course include movies from forever since I've never been the biggest movie watcher.

So, what would be a crime to miss?

I'm not sure what you've seen, but "City of God" is really damn good. "The Squid and the Whale" is excellent, and there's also "Rushmore", "The Royal Tenenbaums", and "Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou", which are a bit older. There's also "Crash", which can get old and annoying quick but it's pretty good the first time.

"Oldboy" is also good, but one should expect a lot of pain and violence.

Oh, and Brokeback.

It depends on what you like though.

All I've seen of those is Royal Tenenbaums... oh, that was great. Thanks for the suggestions, I'll give them a try!

Oh, I agree! Child of the 80's, baby!

Those are some of the few movies I've actually seen, heh. But thanks for the suggestion. ^__^

Of course I do! The old ones are my favorites of course, but in general they're all great. I wanted to be an ewok when I was a little girl. With princess Leia buns of course. :D

That's what I get for having two brothers.

Do you have a favorite one?
