Well, the summer was so hot that my motivation seemed to disappear.
あの、やる気も失せてしまいそうなくらい暑かった夏。
At that time, if you asked me if I prefer summer or winter, I'm thinking "Can't we have an early winter..." because I like winter despite the cold.
あの時は早く冬にならないかな...と、そんなことばかり考えていたし、夏と冬どちらが好きかと聞かれたら冬が好きなのだが、にしても寒い。
I become more susceptible to cold year-by-year.
年々、寒さに弱くなっていっている気がする。
I can no longer do outdoor shoots without a handwarmer.
もう外ロケなんかはホッカイロが手放せない。

これを発明し、世に広めた方には毎年感謝しています。
By the way, as I've been performing in the play "Tonomonogatari/Kikkai Sono San" while also filming, once it is over, I will be starting a new work.
さて、現在瀬戸は舞台『遠野物語・奇ッ怪 其ノ参』の本番と並行してある撮影をしていて、それが終わればまた新しい作品に入ります。
The information ban has been lifted on one of those works.

This coming year, starting January 10, it's the NHK BS premium broadcast "Bakumatsu Gourmet BushuMeshi"!
来年の1月10日から放送予定のNHK BSプレミアム『幕末グルメ ブシメシ！』です。

In order to help Banshiro, his wife conceals recipes in his luggage!!!
そこで伴四郎を助けてくれるのが、妻が荷籠に忍ばせた“献立”！！！
It's a heartwarming drama in which the personality of Banshiro is to use this menu to resolve difficulties with people.
伴四郎の人柄、そしてこの献立で周囲の人の悩みごと解決するほのぼの時代劇です。
As I read the script, I had an impression of "Gretel no Kamado".
台本を読んだ時、僕は『グレーテルのかまど』を感じざるを得ませんでした。
This is almost certainly why the the feeling in this present work, while set in a different era, is replete with a modern feeling of coziness.
アットホーム感といいますか、時代は違えど、どこか現代と似た、あるいは今だからこそ大切にしなければいけないことが今作には詰まっている気がします。
