Africa so far
i'm coming home in 8 days i think. march 14th at 4 pm i will be getting off of a british airwatys plane back to the cold weather and stressy fast paced world that is canada. its been a great time, probably could have been better but at least now i will be more prepared for further travels in third world nations. i haven't sent a single postcard its not cause i didn't think of anyone its just that i never really got the opportunity and its kind of expensive. beer isn't though. i've been paying about a dollar a bottle its going to be hard to pay more when i go home.
kinda disappointed at the lack of emails i've gotten here. maybe everyone is too busy?
time is different here and its been so easy to stay away from the internet.
craziest things i've done: white water rafted the zambezi river and tipped on a class 5 rapid (i thought i was dead!)
Gorge swing which is basically jump[ing off a cliff and free falling longer than the average bungee jump then being caught by the bungee and swung back and forth for about 5 to 10 minutes. i did tandem which two of the guys on my topur which makes you fall faster but i had to have someone with me to pull me off the cliff!
the third craziest thing was eating a pot cake baked by some random local from the market outside of our campsite in malawi. it was not a fun night for the boys because i tripped pretty hard and again thought i was going to die. note to anyone travelling to malawi: DON"T EAT THEIR POT!
