And there, I've finally finished the main campaign in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood!
Good thing I'm so slow to get started on gaming franchises, now it won't be long 'till next game hits the shelves (pro tip to RL relations: Assassin's Creed: Revelations is GUARANTEED to be a big hit if I find it under my tree this Christmas).
Not that I think I'll return Brotherhood to Maria just yet though. I originally wanted to get the more interesting side quests (like the truth glyphs and Leonardo's machines) out of the way before going up against the final boss, but before I knew it I was knee deep in Borgias and couldn't go back or replay any memories. I've never been the type to go for 100 % completion in a game, but I don't want to miss out on any storytelling aspects so I think a bit of post-credits playing is due.
I don't think I'll even play around with the multiplayer part of the game though. I don't think I'll ever see the charm of playing against some anonymous pre-teen asshole from Minnesota or Nannestad or whatever when there is a cleverly scripted main campaign with an engaging storyline made by professionals right there.
I do, however, find it increasingly likely that I'm going to have to buy that The DaVinci Disappearance DLC. I usually don't bother too much with DLC games but aaah more Leonardo!
(And this time I can finally use my Orson-Welles-as-Cesare-Borgia icon and feel topical!)
rambling: games,
squeeage,
geekery
