The familiar sound of rain against the window

La faim me monte à la tete, j'avale mon chapeau
Un bouton de ma jaquette et un pauvre mulot

Aaaaand back again.

I'm done with night trains. There always comes a time, about four in the morning, when I'm filled with an intense hatred for all my fellow travellers because they manage to sleep and I don't. And I can't turn on the the wee light because that'll disturb someone. What happens is I turn to my mp3 player and listen to an audio play, say, The Six Napoleons, and since I'm so very tired my emotional response is turned way up to eleven, and I end up fighting back tears because, I don't know, in the play Inspector Lestrade says something nice.

No, the daytime train was much better. Read some more Hellblazer, and it's really picking up now we're finished with Brian Azzarello's run. Lucifer on the other hand seems to have turned to utter tripe.

But anyway, it was so very very brilliant to see my family again. To be honest I was really suffering of a bad case of homesickness. I just needed to be around them for a weekend.

Was introduced to mum's beautiful new house. Which I suppose is my home outside of this loft room in Bergen. It was very nice and cozy and I bet it'll look even more homey the next time I visit.

tiny-cs and I went to see Watchmen. I don't pretend I'm one of the hardcore comic group (I first read it at Christmas), but that was, well. I feel it would have been a whole lot better if it had cut a whole lot of the physics-defying fighting scenes of insanely graphic violence that went on forever. Not to mention the awkwardly looongest sex scene I've ever seen outside of a blue movie.

Great casting, though. And for the most part it looked spectactular.

And as a final note I'll mention how I got a digital camera as an early birthday present. It's actually the first camera I've ever owned that wasn't disposable. Prepare for everyday picspams!
