Playing house with Liz was great. The week couldnt had went better really.
I think the highlight was the dinner party. Liz ended up making salmon and stir fry. My contribution was red curry,tofu and peanut potstickers. I marinated the tofu in spicy brown mustard and duck sauce, cooked and chopped it up into a paste. Then I crushed the peanuts, put them in wonton wrappers and fried them in peanut oil. They came out perfect. I was so proud of myself for coming up with a completely original recipe and making it work. Everyone except Liz loved them, go figure. Liz made the best stir fry Ive ever had too, not to understate what she cooked.
Upnorth was a lot of fun but it would had been better had the weather been good. 50 and cloudy the whole time. We made it work though. I'll post more specific details when Liz gets the pictures up. It was also agonizing that her parents decided to join us and their over protective christian values made sure that we didnt touch eachother all week annnnd maybe it was psychological but it just seemed to make the sexual tension between Liz and myself that much more fierce. I dont mean to talk shit though, I really like her parents, especially her dad. At the sametime shes 19, Im fucking 22, we kinda wanna get at it and should be free too.
Were going back up in a couple weeks without them so the experience should be a lot different and the weather Im sure will be better too.
We stopped in Frankenmuth for the afternoon on the way home. We got wine, cheese and crackers. Ate at the brewery which had just reopended and I got a really good red microbrew that made my day.
After we got lost looking for a party, we retired to my house when I was finally able to get Liz to watch RoboCop and she didnt like and I almost broke up with her. Well she insisted she liked it but she complained through the whole movie so I dont buy it. I need to force her to watch it a couple more times, then she'll get it. Everyone does eventually.
Yesterday, mom made a pizza, Liz made a pizza and I made a pizza. Actually Liz' pizza was the best and that came out of nowhere. I mean noone tops either of our pizzas but she did.
We then went to mewithoutyou with Andrew. The crowd was funny. It was a fine mix of christian bros, stoners and indie trash. All 3 factions were respresented within Andrew, Liz and myself. They were good though. Not as good as the first time I seen them but still very good.
