A lot of catching up....
Fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun fun weekend. Best Memorial Day weekend Ive had in a couple years. So busy!
Friday- I ended up being invited to Bruces going away party at the Shores Inn. That was a really good time. It was good to see Bruce in a social setting. We always got along really well and related to eachother on some levels so it was really nice to talk with him and share a drink too.
Saturday- Donnies wedding! It ended up being one of the best weddings Ive ever been too. Under the circumstances I think it was the best. So many people I had lost touch with and seeing them again was more pleasant than I expected. Liz attempting to teach me how to do The Shuffle was scary, otherwise, we tore it up. Im really happy for Donnie though. Hes one of the most genuine people I know and I really hope things work out for them.
Afterward there was a bon fire at Stevies that we ditched a bit early for. I had like 20 smores. Worth it.
Sunday- The bbq went off without a hitch. As feared, the turnout wasnt that strong cause I picked a bad day. Otherwise, everything went great. I made good food. Im getting good at cooking and it makes me happy. That night ended watching the Mighty Ducks outside and mom making everyone hot chocolate; Vanilla, Carmel and Chocolate mixed!
Monday- Liz and I gave the area thrift stores hell. Huge sales everywhere and we took advantage. I pruchased two new bathing suits, the Star Wars trilogy on VHS and the Top Gun soundtrack on cassette. I need to control the lawlzing.
Last night ended with us watching Gummo. One of the more deranged, downer movies Ive ever seen. Still it was one of the best. So I suggest checking it out but prepare yourself.

Driveway bowling will be a staple of future driveway parties.
