(no subject)
The atmosphere downtown tonight was great. Wasnt as good as the Superbowl but the Final Four is no Superbowl. Having MSU in this though was what really made it fun. I dont really consider myself a Michigan State fan but it was fun to see them win and celebrate and dance (literally) with MSU fans tonight.
I always said that I never wanted to be downtown for local team winning a championship but tonight may have changed my mind. Had I been drinking more it would of been right at my pace of celebration.
What wasnt fun was posting up in Greektown as Mike and myself did, gorging on expensive beer and meditarian food for 4 hours and running up an 80 dollar tab. It really got away from us. Its been "getting away" from me a lot lately.
After all that jazz, Mike gave me a tour of WJR. It was as elaborate and intimidating as I expected. Ohhhhhhhhhhhh I wanna work there soooooooo bad and uh shhhhh!(I might be very soon but Im still waiting for the phonecall and its an intership but still technically I would be working right?)
I made it back in time for hockey and that was a disaster. My stomach was completely distended from being so full and I was trying to skate. I threw up in the lockerroom around a half hour in and called it a night.
Sooooo tomorrow Im going to the Red Wings game with Neal and Corey and thats more money I will likely be spending. Then a swap meet in Royal Oak where Im hoping there will be a lot of cute girls that will admire all the crap that everyone else thinks Im weird for.
The contrast between the events is hilarious. Broin it up with my sports bros at a hockey game then going to going to a swap meet with a bunch of girls in Royal Oak. Its the epitome of my life and personality all wrapped up in one day.
