Cookies and love
And now to finally show you the parcel I got from hettie_lz on 18 December (it says that it was sent on 12 December, so I'm impressed with how fast it arrived):
It came in this special holiday envelope (addresses clumsily redacted):
There was this card inside, with special personalized wishes. I'm touched and honoured. :)
It was attached to this box.
And when i opened it, there was this paper napkin on top. It was so pretty that I saved it, and it still smells of cloves. :)
Each cookie inside was individually wrapped, so most of them arrived in one piece.
Here are samples of most kinds of cookies inside and all of the most decorative ones (I admit I didn't count them, but these were about half of all cookies).
I still wonder what to use as "glue" for the broken one on top because I want to use it as Christmas decoration. Any ideas?
This one (not shown on the plate above) was my favourite taste-wise. There were two of them, so i specially photographed the second one after I ate the first.
They are all gone now, except the four on top with the special decoration. :) I shared some with my mother (splitting each cookie sowe could both tatse them) and I even sent one to my sister. Thank you again for all the joy and warmth, Hettie! :)
