Getting personal: the best of the autumn leaves that I had dried for decoration before I was forced to finally throw them out because the shelf space was needed for the celebration of my mother's and mine shared birthday. I was very sad to let them go, so I turned it into a little ritual of "returning them to nature" to cheer myself up.
The last leaf I could see from my balcony on 11 December. (It stayed there until at least 15 December, gradually turning brown, and then I forgot to look, so I don't know where exactly it fell off.)
Closeup of the same leaf that i took on my way out.
The inevitable berries in the most central park, still 11 December. I'll be very grateful if somebody tells me the name of this plant.
Raindrops on the birch trees in the new park (not the same park as the photo above or my previous series), 19 December. It had rained all night, then the rain transitioned into wet now that melted as ssoon as it hit the ground, than it was again rain in the late afternoon.
Today (20 December0 was definitely a winter day, not below freezing, but still very cold, with that winter feeling in the air. But this dandelion flower was still persistenly surviving.
... and there were still water drops around in the late afternoon, although, most of the day had been sunny.
