This cat was my birthday gift for my mother (her birhday is on 13 December, the same day as mine), although I only mnaged to finish it on 29 December, what with recalcualting the shape of the head to make it a little more realistic, adding back legs, and just various other things getting in the way. It took me two days just to figure out how to position those back legs! I made it from a slef-patterning yarn, although I don't think it was specially designed for knitting calico cats. :)
