Leonard Cohen - Dance Me To The End of Love
A hauntingly beautiful if somewhat creepy song and video, which I only discovered yesterday because somebody I know (a fellow Bulgarian, and younger than me!) posted it on Facebook.
It seems to be something in between a requiem and a love song, vaguely inspired by the idea of the musicians who were forced to pay in death camps during the Second World War. Has anybody heard of that interview with Leonard Cohen in which he supposedly explained that, by the way? Maybe I should try to find it.
There is no actual violence in the video, but it freaked me out the first time I saw it - and then I was fascinated after I more or less figured it out.
