The rainbow season
Here are some belated photos from & June that I promised to post (and even prepared for posting) and then forgot about them as I almost disappeared from LJ. And yes, some of you have seen them on Facebook, in one of my few albums there.
That was during a period of almost daily rains. I was switching between the living room window and the balcony. I didn't go out to look for a better vantage point although I had already managed to get wet from the rain that started suddenly while I was on my way home. bgoberon called me on the phone, and I kept shooting at the rainbow(s) as I was talking to him. :)
And then I totally missed another rainbow on the next day, or the day after. And then I managed to photograph yet another one, but I haven't selected and edited the photos yet. That's quite a record for my home town; we typically don't see rainbows often here.
The second rainbow is (barely) visible here.
What were those birds doing there in the rain? :)
