(no subject)
A conversation with my mom:
"Emily, I just wanted to let you know about how mature your father and I think you have become these past few months. We're really proud of you."
I start laughing hysterically.
"Um, Emily? What's so funny?"
"I just realized my underwear has been on inside out all day."
"Well at least you're wearing underwear."
"How true."
When I was little we had to do "panty checks" for me before we left the house every Sunday because I often forgot to wear underwear to church. For some reason I thought that if you were wearing a dress or skirt then underwear was not required.
After I got the hang of wearing underwear, I would often wake up, forget I had some on, and just put on another pair. Then when I went to go to the bathroom later that day, I would be shocked to find after pulling one pair down that there was another! It was kind-of a neat surprise for me, especially since I only wore Disney Princess underwear when I was little (fine, fine, up until a few weeks ago...) and so I would see Ariel and then, whoa! Belle was there too!
Anyways, that's all.
