I was feeling part of the scenery, I walked right out of the machinery.

I am so incredibly busy with church stuff and homework and projects, but I shall type very quickly!

I registered for classes yesterday and will be starting my first quarter at Fairhaven. Here are the four classes I'm taking, and I think just by the title of each course you can see why I love Fairhaven so much.

-Introduction to Interdisciplinary Study
-Critical Reflection and Inquiry: Journeying
-Social Relationships and Responsibilities
-Photography as a Therapeutic Tool for Personal and Social Awareness

I am really nervous for the photography class, but I figure that I need to start taking chances if I actually want to pursue film and everything.

The church asked me if I want to work there next year and honestly I have no idea what to tell them... Some weeks I love it, but I've always just assumed this was a one year gig. The KVIK coordinator position opened up and the current guy told me to apply, even though I know it would be sooo much work and one of the hardest jobs imaginable... but I will just to see what happens.

On Tuesday, a woman from Woodring (our School of Education) came to talk to my education class about admissions. I asked her if it was possible to get an Elementary Ed. certificate when you're in Fairhaven. She said yes, but then asked what my intended major was. I told her film studies, and she immediately started saying it wouldn't work, that no one has done that in the six years she's worked here, and basically told me that I had to pick one or the other.

I also found out that it's pretty much impossible to student teach abroad if you're in the Elementary Ed program, so all of my plans are pretty much going to crap.

Oh well... I guess I'll just see what happens. Oh, and I'm driving to Easton, WA this weekend for a church retreat and there should be snow storms, so if I get stuck, will one of you come rescue me? Thanks. : )

P.S. The Toilet Fundraiser has raised over $500!! I'm so proud of us.
