The Usual 5 Things
1) Ojon I've been trying to find the perfect conditioner for the longest time and I think I've found it in Ojon. I have thick curly/wavy hair and of course for those who have such hair, I don't particularly like it. I've been straightening it a great deal lately and now it's all long and just not doing anything because it's just dry. Ojon is a bit pricey. That's the only thing. I think I might have to find another alternative BUT it did soften my hair and it left my hair in soft waves when I air dried it. The only thing I don't like about it is the smell. It smells like coconut, peanut butter, and almonds. I don't exactly know. It does smell very natural though. I shall live with it. At least it left my hair soft. So yes, I'm a happy person right now.
2) Girl with the Dragon Tattoo So I'm just half way finished but I think it's amazing. It's really wonderfully written and I'm so glad I picked it up. My last book was "Dry" by Augusten Burroughs which wasn't as interesting as I thought it would be. He's certainly had a fascinating life story but the earlier period of his life which he wrote about in "Running With Scissors" was much more interesting to me.
3) I Write Like iwr.me has been such a trending topic this week with a lot of criticism, especially from other authors who tested it out by copying and pasting a part of their work on the site and got a completely different author than themselves. I love this article for example. Who knew Lady Gaga was just like Shakespeare? I put a paragraph of my writing down and it told me I write just like Charles Dickens. I only wish that were true. When I was younger I wanted to write just like Stephen King. His horror stories were like the Bible for me. I started writing short stories when I was in 6th grade or so and most if not all of them were horror stories because of King's influence.
4) As for media, I am so glad Lindsay Lohan as been hauled off to jail. That girl has serious problems and it's sad to see such a person with so much potential as a great actress to ruin themselves because of wanting so much more.
5) I can't wait to see SALT. I am such an Angelina Jolie fan. She is my one and only girl crush for sure. I love her. The fan girl in me has awakened.
